Skinner’s were looking for a space at Crufts that would reflect the brand’s extraordinary heritage and established position in the market. From here the project began, as we set about designing a real life ‘home’ for the Skinner’s brand.

Holding its own in the busy exhibition hall at Crufts, the stand tells the unique story of Skinner’s as a long-established family-run business. Created from scratch with a large undertaking of custom work, the complete house includes windows, doors, a roof, and chimney. The stand is easily recognisable as a country house from the outside, with overgrown foliage and vines creeping up the brick-effect walls. Inside, the country look continues into the rustic kitchen area, with a custom counter and detailed graphics helping to tell the story.

Like all strong physical storytelling, the theming of the Skinner’s stand amplifies the brand identity, rather than diverting from it. And while being led by brand, the stand holds plenty of storage for product display, meaning that the team could facilitate on the day sales too.

From the initial concepting and design in our studio, to the custom graphic production and carpentry undertaken in the workshops, creating the Skinner's house was a creative privilege with a rewarding outcome.
