We were pleased to be approached by fellow Norwich-based business Castle Colour Packaging, who were looking for an exhibition stand for London Packaging Week.

We made full use of the 4m build height, including an illuminated logo at the top to capture attention and ensure that Castle Colour were easily identified from a distance in the exhibition hall.

With Castle Colour keen to emphasise their glowing sustainability credentials, we created a feature wall that put sustainability in the spotlight. Standing out against the white of the main wall, the ecovadis wall was both a draw to visitors and a prompt to start conversations.

The stand itself supports Castle Colour’s values too, with ‘life cycle thinking’ very much at the core of this project. The main exhibition stand structure was reused from previous projects, reducing the amount of new production. Tools and technology such as UV printing were used to further reduce waste, chemicals, and energy. Recycled and recyclable materials were central to the design too; for instance stand graphics made from a material derived from recycled plastic bottles.

As well as talking about sustainability and showcasing their packaging solutions, in 2023 Castle Colour created an on-stand engagement in the form of their ‘Build a Ben’ challenge. The challenge gave the team an opportunity to break the ice with prospective customers, creating a space for conversations to freely flow.

Since then, the stand has its second outing at Packaging Week 2024, extending the lifecycle of the stand further, and creating a big impact too.
